First time I opened the game it was vertically offset, I closed it and opened it again and the bug never showed up again.
I think this has more to do with my OS, I started playing the native version in Fedora 41 and I would experience really annoying lag that would not go away, I decided to change my OS and now I haven't experienced any of those problems. However, I recommend to deactivate the "Scaled by the system" setting in display configuration if you have a display with over 60hz if you have issues like flickering or black screen when running apps at fullscreen.
When playing the Native version the game would have strange artifacts on the screen.
When playing the Native version the game would freeze for several seconds.
I was able to play a local match with two switch controllers, one xbox one controller, one dualshock 3 and a keyboard, this somehow worked after enabling steam input.
Use proton for this game as the native version has important issues.
Works fantastic, I was even able to play a modded version with windows users and I had zero issues.
mangohud %command%
This happened when skipping the Vulkan Shaders compilation, the game would slow down to the point where my entire PC would freeze and I'd have to force a shutdown, don't skip the shader compilation and it will work great.
It worked just like on windows, it's great.
This has to do more with Titanfall 2 settings, please make sure your select a correct fps target, I would wonder why my game would run at 144fps just sometimes and it was because this setting was set to 72fps. Northstar also works, just make sure to follow the install instructions since you need to choose an specific version of proton for the -norhtstar command to work.
