Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton8-25

Minor vertical lines, but disappear when turning on "stretch" in options (or "dithering" off)
Very easy to get working by installing GEproton8-25 and choosing as the proton version in Steam (no launch commands or other tinkering needed)

New beta update upgraded the engine to UE5, which wasn't recognising Nvidia gcard (no DLSS option). Ran again with just proton experimental and "DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME="NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU" %command%" as the launch option (obviously replace gcard name with your own). Now DLSS appears in graphics settings.
