This launches from Steam OS on steamdeck using the defaults. The only catch is what I previously mentioned about keyboard.
The first time you launch the game you need a physical keyboard to enter your preferred profile name. The developer has been alerted and is working on a fix.
Physical keyboard is required if you don't want your profile name to be blank.
Solid 60 fps on Steam Deck during game play. Initial load to level and in between menus can stutter but this has no negative impact on gameplay. Battery estimates and system load all seem reasonable to exceptional considering the style of game.
The game pretty much works out of the box. The profile name issue only affects Steam Deck users and the dev is working on a fix.
A physical keyboard is required to enter your profile name on first launch. You can leave the field blank but it may negatively impact your experience with leaderboards.
Game plays at a solid 60 fps using default settings and isn't demanding on GPU or battery. There are some stutters when transition between menus but gameplay itself is rock solid.
