Enable vsync and drop refresh rate to 40.
Game will crash if you havent disable GLSL from launcher (before conncting to server) [Settings (on launcher) -> Compatibility -> Disable GLSL Support]
From game settings: Medium graphics, VSync on, Far view disatance.
From deck: 40hz, TDP 8w, GPU 800mhz
Optional: Fantastic plugin (from Decky loader) change fan curve from linear to custom. WIth this you should not hear any fan noise, and CPU and GPU should be around 60-70C
- Make small linear line from 0 to 80 (try keep it around +3000rpm)
- And from 80 - 100 make it straight to 100% speed.
In setting you can change text size. Change it to 17 or higher
Sometimes when looking around FPS can drop 8-10 frames (not that often tho)
Sometimes opening controll menu (Steam button) it can crash the game. Not sure if this is Wurm on Deck problem.
As previously mentioned I have CryoByte33/steam-deck-utilities installed (https://github.com/CryoByte33/steam-deck-utilities) and Wurm really like to use 2GB VRAM and performance is great (Havent tested without this mod)
