before disabling esync i couldnt get past the first video in the game. after disabling it everything worked perfectly.
A small config window opened, after that the game never opened and any atempt after that just doesnt do anything
I tried: PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 PROTON_NO_D3D10=1 gamemoderun %command% but didnt change anything
checking game integrity also did nothing, the game just doesnt work for me
Runs normal after activating Wine D3d11. But no sound at all
I had to use protontricks 287450 -q dsound directmusic to make the sound work. The game runs perfectly with some minor graphical and sound issues. No cinematics
After installing the game runs significantly better than with proton 4.11
But there was no sound and when trying to do: protontricks 287450 directmusic i would get an error of permisions on some files:
"c:/windows/syswow64/dmband.dll: Permission denied"
changing the permisions wouldnt make any difference.
I decided to go back to proton 5.0, do the protontricks command, and then go back to the current proton.
I now have sound and the game runs perfectly quite better than with older proton versions, no graphic glitches like before.
before the customizations i would have no audio
I did not test multiplayer, local or online
i found no difference between the windows playtrough and the gnu/linux playtrough
The game is still in development at the time so it has bugs but they are present in windows as well, it is not something gnu/linux related
