Following the YouTube URL from a user of one of the previous reports on this page (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0MCeeetoTo&feature=youtu.b), I obtained the EAC files from that Google Drive folder in the description and copied them into my Dragon Ball Fighterz/EasyAntiCheat directory.
Previously I had downloaded Paladins myself and used the EAC files that came with the game. However, using these particular EAC files did not work and prompted an error message with "EAC files not found." Then after using the EAC files that came with Dragon Ball Fighterz, the game would boot into a black screen and shortly crash afterwards.
To the previous users who reported the game not to be working, try the EAC files located here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y2UMCT2iXEOy5v-8AtJ1S2SIvqi62adL/view
After that, the game works flawlessly. Online was not tested.

Everything runs very smoothly. Regarding the dual input issue for controllers, this was how I solved it on my machine:
- Start Steam in Big Picture Mode.
- Start the game with no controllers connected.
- Once at the title screen (where it prompts you to press Return on the keyboard), plug in player 1's controller. Press A/X depending on the controller you are using.
- Go to the controller options menu using the keyboard and hover over the "light kick" button for Player 1. Press A on the controller and assign each of the controller's buttons in turn.
- Exit back to the main menu using the Esc button on your keyboard and then plug in the second controller you wish to use.
- Go back into the controller options menu again using the keyboard and perform the previous Step 4 again, this time hovering over Player 2's "light kick" button. Assign controller 2 all of the buttons.
- Again use Esc on the keyboard to exit back into the main menu. Test out your configuration in a versus match. You should be good to go. Hope this helps!
