EAC Connected. All I tested
Artix has weird repository issues with mesa, seems to be fixed now but I've seen/heard of it happening before. Still the best distro :)

Worked.
For gentoo, glibc needs USE flag changes for EAC to function. You can accomplish this by creating and editing "/etc/portage/package.use/glibc" and adding the line "sys-libs/glibc hash-sysv-compat" which is stated on the Gentoo Wiki use flags for Glibc to enable EAC support. This occurs on versions 2.6 and higher according to my research. Otherwise, worked flawlessly.
Needed to disable ESYNC and FSYNC, otherwise was able to run on max or near it all day 60fps
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 mangohud DXVK_ASYNC=1 RADV_PERFTEST=aco DXVK_CONFIG_FILE=/home/zada/dxvk.conf %command%
either ESYNC or FSYNC TRASHES performance. Dont know if its my kernel, wine version, configuration, etc, but i HAD to disable them for more than 20fps.
my performance issues were probably my fault
Amazing game, great story, and ran out of the box without even changing the proton version.
Requires native EAC for ground battles, graphical issues outside of proton
Large sphere artificats that have been a problem with Vulkan in this game for years.
Graphical issues that consists of spherical artifacts (especially around lighting effects?) with the native Vulkan version of the game. These do not occur when using proton, but then you are limited strictly to air battles.
