Everything works out of the box, even FullHD resolution (1920x1080)

The game just works out of the box if you want the original experience. Mods are highly recommended tho.
GMDX mod is highly recommended for a more sleek but still vanilla experience (new renderers, bugfixes, etc.) Check Lutris for an easy way to install the game and the mod. You can find an alternative OpenGL renderer here: http://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/

The game didnt supported my resolution out of the box (1920x1080)
The Knightmare Patch is highly recommended: http://www.markshan.com/knightmare/downloads.htm (adds widescreen supports, better audio, bugfixes,etc...)
Highly recommended OpenGL renderer: http://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/ (a new version that can replace the old one with great Full HD support)
