For Nvidia GPUs, install at minimum graphics drivers 555. If you're using X11, on the launcher use Directx11; if you're using Wayland, on the launcher use either (Vulkan looks better I think).
No longer able to sign in to xbox using previously discussed trick. The window no longer even show up since the last update.
Oct 28 2021 update broke the launcher
It's quite unfortunate, but now we can't even play the game in mod-mode (we never could play on the official servers with recorded progress because of the annoying Easy Cheat Engine, which the team has already said they might not adapt it to Linux because they do not have enough resources). So the game, as it stands, is unplayable, and inaccessible.
It now runs, no issues.
It actually worked well, it loaded in somekind of runtime window.
If it makes a difference, I have Microsoft Edge installed, and it seems to have used that to install the runtime. The game used to not run at all, but now it runs in somekind of Linux window, but works flawlessly.
