There are no community layouts for this and none of the controller layouts seemed to work. The closest I got was with the track pad I was at least able to move the camera around but no matter what button I used I couldn't click to interact with anything or move anything. The menu didn't even load initially till I switched the controllers to the joystick layout. Which I had to do in the first place because the game launches with keyboard and mouse controls
Maybe you can get it to work if you have the patience to be the first person to map out some community controls... I am not that person though.
I couldn't figure out how to open up my inventory, and I didn't recognize the symbol for it in the controls menu. So I changed the open inventory button to pushing down on the right trackpad.
Game runs beautifully. I changed a single setting on the controls, but that was all the tinkering I had to do. My only experience playing the game is on the steam deck and I love it.
