Devil May Cry HD Collection
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
Significant Bugs:Yes
Out of the box, all videos in DMC1 would transcode incorrectly, resulting in a temporary green screen.
I followed guidance from another review here: https://www.protondb.com/app/631510#xaCSvL7Mo9
tl;dr:
- Reset shader cache for game (or all games)
- Download properly transcoded videos from Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycryhdcollection/mods/51
- Overwrite video files in Steam game directory.
- If Steam overwrites these files with original files, repeat step #1 - #3.

The Forest
Once I changed the wine config to use fewer cores, it ran with absolutely no issues for several hours.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental, Set launch options
WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=4:0,1,2,3 %command%
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
I had roughly 50-60 FPS at the lowest and highest graphics settings, which the launch command fixed.
Significant Bugs:
I wasn't able to host a game, but not sure if that was unrelated.

Overall (online):Excellent
