As other said, use --skip-intro, otherwise it'll crash. Also fullscreen not fully working (task bar visible) for me (might be my DE, KDE). I felt the game mouse a bit slow, but it might just be that way. No difference between standard and OpenGL version. Multiplayer not tested.
