Black screen or flashing lights in new system
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: Tried experimental, 9.03, GE 9
Installs:Yes

Fedora 40 with nvidia. Used to work on PopOS. Latest Experimental has flashing lights, crashes ofter 5s, and other versions of Proton have a black screen.
I could try using kernel 6.8 as I happen to have it installed in grub2.

LEGO Star Wars III - The Clone Wars
Tinker Steps:Set launch options, winetricks
MANGOHUD_CONFIG=fps_limit=6-,no_display
OotB game flickers and crashes. This suggests a graphics issue. A quick and dirty fix was to use Wintricks on $STEAM_DIR/steamapps/compatdata/32510/pfx to install al dxd11 or dxd9 libraries. I don't know which ones are necessary, maybe you just need any, maybe you need a specific version. Game runs fine after this tinker.
Excuse the launch option typo, it should be 60 no 6-
