If you don't own an XBO or an XSX, MCC on Steam is probably the ideal way to experience Halo: CE to Halo: Reach.
Frames go unstable every now and again (somebody else said it's at parts the game is loading things).
Used GE, launched without EAC (as well as just straight up deleting the Easy Anti-Cheat folder in the game files (f*** you Epic Games (Tencent))).
Halo without coop sucks. Even if you played single player, you'd have to put up with constant jittering in cutscenes and in game.
deleted the Easy Anti-Cheat folder in game files.
Jittery FPS constantly.
The join button doesn't work. My friend had to send me invites which didn't work most of the time. When we finally got to play, the game kicked us from coop campaign after 2 seconds.
(My friend was on Windows and he had to delete/disable EAC because it just crashed his game on launch.)
The menu is pretty cool but it'd be cooler if I could play the game.
Basically, the menu worked and the initial story book cutscene played but then the screen was just black. I tried a bunch of different version of Proton including the ones people mentioned worked ootb.
framerate dropped substantially on some maps.
This game is a classic. I was surprised to find out how well it ran out of the box.
Works fine from my experience.
Not sure
This game sucks, I doubt a lot of people on linux distros would wanna play this.
