Various fonts were needed to be installed. In particular impact.ttf, lucon.ttf and verdana.ttf were needed.

Otherwise the game would crash after the intro movie. The missing font would be mentioned in the ctgw.log file in the steam game folder.

Only problem with the game were the missing fonts. They had only to be copied into a folder where the game could find them. For example in "Commander The Great War/data/fonts/" or the system font folder
