Tinker Steps:Launcher: Heroic, Set launch options
Install windows version from gog. Use Proton 7.0 Perfect run.
Native Linux download has issues with launching. Half screen, failure to load. Varied depending on launch from game mode or desktop. Using windows with proton works.

Use GE-Proton 7-43. An install script will run, then press the button in bottom right corner to launch games. You will have an option for DX 9 or DX 11. Select DX 9. DX 11 will close to desktop. DX 9 run well. Other than small text which you cannot resize, the game runs perfectly.
