I am on KDE so I had to turn off compositing because I see diagonal screen tearing. Once you turn it off, looks just like it would on Windows.

I have tried the latest GE-Proton8-xx and the last GE-Proton7-xx. Also the Proton 8.0-4 and Experimental. In all of those, the game crashes a lot. Until I tried 7.0-6.
It is also important to delete the folder ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/325610/ before switching to a different proton version.
