Just works!
I've also played it on Linux Mint on an I7 7th gen with a GTX 1060 laptop and an even older I7 and GTX 840m laptop. The older 840m laptop struggled a bit, but it was playable. Works super well on this current laptop! Looks and feels great. Worth noting, I've also had no issues using mod maps and vehicles.
