Works out of the box using Steam Play / Proton 5.0.9 without any tweaks required.
NOTE: I only played through the first tutorial thus far and haven't yet tried the online/network multi-player mode. I used high graphics settings and noticed no issues whatsoever. Sound, video, controls - all works great. If I didn't know, I wouldn't be able to tell it's not native.

I submitted another report earlier, but I have played an online/multi-player game since too, so just wanted to add that it worked just as flawlessly as the single player tutorial I played earlier (including all the online/multi-player specific features like lobby, chat, in-game alliance features, etc). Again, if I didn't know it wasn't native, I wouldn't be able to tell.
Installs fine. Loads and shows the main/menu screen. But as soon as you try to start the game, it only shows the black screen and nothing happens.
Runs out of the box with Proton 5.0.
Logitech F710 controller was recognized and usable out of the box in "D" mode / without xboxdrv.
The only minor thing I noticed is: the max resolution available is 1920x1080 (my monitor's native is 3440x1440). I suspect it's just a limitation the game itself has and it doesn't affect gameplay at all - game scales just fine for me: it utilizes full screen's height with black borders on both sides of the screen, except the cut scenes, which render in 1920x1080 rectangle in the middle of the screen with black borders around it. Everything else (including controller support) seems to work perfectly out of the box.
Runs out of the box with Proton 4.11 and launch options set to: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Runs perfectly smooth out of the box!
System/runtime: Ubuntu 24.04, Kernel 6.10.2, GeForce RTX 4080, NVIDIA Driver 550.107.02, Steam Proton 9.0.
Didn't do any tinkering at all - game installed and launched seamlessly. I didn't even need to manually login to Ubisoft Launcher - it happened automatically.
It also automatically recognized the PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller and the in-game button hints were rendering the correct symbols (i.e. the circle/square/triangle/cross, etc).
I've set the game to use the max video quality and the best AA quality (MSAA). I've only watched the intro scene and played the initial tutorial for like 5 minutes, but it was a buttery smooth experience on a 4K monitor (3840x2160 @ 144Hz).
Runs perfectly using Proton 5.11-GE-3-MF. I haven't noticed anything that wasn't working as expected. No performance issues either.
