But it would not start. I did later then try some Proton options which required reinstalling, and those all crash with an error. Another waste of money on the roulette wheel of "will this game work or not."

I've tried every permutation of proton version and experimental and a variety of command line hacks recommended at various places, it simply does not start. This should not be listed as "Gold."
