`EDLaunch.exe /Steam /novr` runs but no GUI visible
After installation I start the game, get the regular dialogue that Steam shows when it is starting a game and then the game tries to start.
1st run: A Windows dialogue asks me to submit a hardware report. 2nd run: Steam installs VC Redist and DirectX.
Afterwards, in both cases, a Windows dialogue pops up: "Unhandled Exception: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.". Nothing happens if I click "OK". EDLaunch.exe /Steam /novr runs with minimal CPU time consumption. No GUI / window is visible.

After installation I click "Play". The usual "preparing to launch" window appears. On the 1st run, a Windows dialogue asked me to submit hardware information. The game launcher did not come up, so I pressed "Stop" and then "Play" again. On the 2nd run, a Steam window informed me that VC Redist and DirectX are being installed. Then again the game launcher did not appear. In both cases, 1st and 2nd run, a dialogue "Unhandled Exception: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed." appears. When I click "OK" nothing happens. Throughout the whole time I can see EDLaunch.exe /Steam /novr is running with minimal CPU time consumption. No GUI / window appears.

Cutscenes do not work properly, preventing the player from enjoying the story.
Cutscene videos play choppy: Video stops every few seconds while audio continues, causing audio/video desync. Switching from Proton 9.0-1 to 8.0-5, Experimental or GE 9-5 did not fix that.
