The game opens on a VERY tiny window.
When you open the game in big picture it will open a VERY small window. You need to go to desktop mode, open the game, the game will display properly, go to options, disable windowed mode and enable full screen. After that the game will play perfectly fine in big picture on the Steam Deck.
Finally works with some tinkering. Video cutscenes will only work with GE-Proton9-27, haven't tried orders version of GE-Proton.

Download XAudio2_9 from dll-files.com, make sure it’s the 64-bit version. Rename it to xaudio_8.dll. On desktop mode, go to /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1175830/pfx/drive_c/windows/system32 and copy the xaudio2_8.dll file to system32 and it will ask you to replace and confirm.
The game finally works without crashes thanks. This fix was originally posted by (Hakushaku) for desktop Linux and I decided to try it on my SteamDeck with great results. Video cutscenes will play as long as you use GE-Proton9-27.
