runs great first it didnt launch i had to put in this launch option %command% -nolauncher

when it doesnt connect (loads infinetly) switch to another server then switch back
used launch option PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% the game just plays without any problems you wouldn't even notice you're on linux
The update v20.0 prevents playing this game with proton
before this update the game was running fine and also could play co-op have played almost 40 hours this game it a shame :(
tried lots of things steam proton versions,launch options,GE versions,changed settings via protontricks...

i used truckersm-cli to launch this game which allows to play the famous truckersmp mod you can get it on github
use -d option and also --activate-native-d3dcompiler-47 but this option is only required once DXVK just provides more fps
ran it with Proton 5.0-9 i think it didnt launch with newer Proton but besides the performance issue its a good experience on GNU/linux
yes this game isn't optimised but its not protons fault im just saying if you plan to buy this game to be aware of this newer pcs shouldnt have a problem but for me i had to reduce graphics+resolution to minimum and it still did run 60 fps more like 30-20

launch option PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command% to fix audio and i also recommend using aco shader compiler RADV_PERFTEST=aco %command% if you have a AMD card use %command% only 1 time at the end lint to GE-s custom protons https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases and also the one i used https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/5.9-GE-3-ST but using the latest GE proton release is recommended
