Runs without any issues. Performance is good, no graphical glitches.
Note that if you have your Steam Controller plugged in but not turned on, the game will ignore keyboard controls and it might look like it's hung if you're at the startup configuration screen.
I can't tell a difference between proton and windows, i don't that lightly.
Unknown(an hour with Proton)The characters didn't load at first. I tweaked a bit in the user_settings.py and found that it should be fixed by enabling WINED3D. After this setting was changed, the characters loaded, but experienced some flickering on the characters and monsters at times. Also, the map shows unexplored areas when it shouldn't. Other than these issues, the game runs VERY smoothly
