I only experienced a 15 to 25 fps drop, which is negligible.

Tried Proton 6.3-8, Experimental and GE 8-28 - all crashed

Also tried Proton 6.3-8 and Proton Experimental both with and without launch option. Some crashed without showing anything at all while others would start to load for a few seconds before crashing.
I did see notes in Steam community about some environment variables needing set in Windows however that is beyond my technical ability to test via Proton.

Works perfect with Proton version 6.3-8 and the launch options.

The game runs perfectly!

Plays as good as the regular Battlerite


Played a couple of rounds, no problems at all. (This was done with the Sway WM with amdgpu driver)

Works perfectly out of the box in the latest Proton 3.16-8 version.

Needed to manually replace two dll files, otherwise game would crash when game was found. The dll files are available here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/326#issuecomment-455882787


Works flawlessly Don't forget to get the newest drivers ! (without them, the models didn't load)


Crashes when game is found and when starting a private game.


The game works very well, but when i try to start a match, game crashes.

Runs out of box, without issues. Framerates could be better (70-120 maxed 1440p), but it works well. played with a friend around 2+ hours, not a single issue.


Initial loading screen gets to ~98% and then stays there indefinitely. Terminal starts outputting "eventfd: Too many open files" a few times when further loading stops.



Games starts beautifully but everything network-related doesn't work. When you start a game, it crashes with the following error.log:
steamnetworkingsockets.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
In the output.log you can see further details:

Game launcher works, but failes to load some graphics. Crashes when you try to start a game



Main menu works fine, and I can access settings, but the moment I try to switch to 'Play' tab or any other tab, game hangs, while music in background keeps playing
