Ray Tracing on, 486p w/FSR/Sharp, Low Graphics Settings
Default controller input wasn't working at first. Switched to a layout I made to add gyro, and that for some reason fixed it.
Yeah, turns out I forgot to delete the launch command that said to uninstall the Frame Gen Mod from when I had the Frame Gen Decky plugin. Runs great.

Some in-game text can be difficult to read, but could be made better by changing resolution
It's likely the game will start in a 4:3 resolution. Best recommended display settings are to set the aspect ratio to 16:10 (Native), and resolution to 1280x800 (Native). This should also help with the readability of some text as well

Worked with default settings, no tinkering required

Game is stuck on loading screen never let's me play. Dunno what's happened tried heaps of proton versions. No dice.
Game doesn't work unfortunately
readable
text is too small.

gpu -50mv cpu -10mv
STEAM DECK OLED
in bios: gpu -50 mv, cpu -10 mv, gpu up to 1800 mhz, cpu up to 3700 mhz.
in game: low settins, native resolution 1280x800, upscalers off.
result: 90 fps 90% time.

Font too small and no font smoothing applied, especially with Chinese which is in a weird font making it harder to recongnise.
Aim assist not working, but seems not a Steam Deck specific issue.

Played through this in a few days with zero issues. Med/High settings, 40fps cap with 2 hour battery life. Controls, resolution and graphics settings automatically selected by default worked very well.

TDP Limit 8 Framerate 60 FSR 4
Text is small and unclear
The game freezes very frequently in many situations:
- in game menu (before even starting to play)
- during a battle with many enemies
- when entering a new area
- when exiting the game After freezing, sometimes the console reboots automatically or I need to force shutdown.
I'm using the latest version of Steam OS 3.4.6
Due to Bethesda stupid account linking and because I use a password manager and gamescope doesn't allow copying from clipboard, had to waste half an hour recovering account and signing in Desktop mode.
Small framerate hitching
Runs surprisingly smooth. There is no end all be all settings for it as there are so many configs to use. Just know that no matter what you choose the game will run
Graphics set to high, Screen refresh rate set to 40Hz and TDP limit to 8W
Sometimes after suspending and waking up the Deck while in-game the audio starts to crackle
928 x 588 60 FPS - FSR - Mix of Low - Med Settings with textures set to High - 7w power limit - 2.5 hours of battery life Same Settings with a 40 FPS cap and 6w power limit gives you a little bit over 3 hours of battery life but you will get some stuttering here and there
Text is a bit small with this game but once you get going it doesnt get in the way

Changed the refresh rate to 40fps.
Some of the text was quite small and blurry.
Gamepad controls take some getting used to (particularly the back grip buttons), but with some practice it works reasonably well. Using the right trackpad for looking around is pretty sweet.

The right resolution isn't taken by default. Just go to in-game options and choose the right one.
Audio could bug when returning from sleep mode
Some crashes sometimes
Crashes are rare
Toss graphics settings on ultra nightmare and let dynamic resolution handle the rest. Beautiful game. Runs worse if launched through desktop mode for reasons unknown. Also played on external monitor (1080p), left it on deck resolution (can only be heightened in desktop mode, which again runs worse) and let FSR handle scaling up. You might have to change aspect ratio and resolution if you switch between multiple devices that have different resolutions because resolution follows cloud save, but this is a 5 second fix.
For some reason it started with a weird resolution. I had to go into the game options to fix the aspect ratio and resolution to Steam Deck's native of those options.
Just need to correct some video options. One time I was correcting video options it did crash instead of fixing video options. But subsequent runs it worked fine.
Runs great on Deck, although the antialiasing makes the game quite blurry at 800p. You can disable it by pressing ~ and typing r_antialiasing 0 in the console.
