game does not start
Game does not launch
Works with 6.3.8
Tried experimental initially with no luck. Switched to 6.3.8 and worked fine from there on.
Runs out of the box well.
On a 3440x1440 monitor fullsrceen does not work well. An issue with the game itself and not proton I think.
Works perfectly out of the box.
Works perfectly fine.
crashed once or twice
Runs perfectly at Fantastic settings on my 6 year old rig. Not a single issue so far in 10+ hours of play.
Game only works properly with "Good" video settings or less.

Runs great
No issues with playing the game.

It starts but then gets stuck on "loading" after the splash screen
I tried the "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" but it didn't work. It doesn't work on OpenGL nor "normal" version.
Smooth process, no issues. Fortunately it's not a graphically or computationally expensive game.
totally smooth, no issues
runs very smooth and without any issues

I had to drop to 'Simple' graphics quality to get a smooth framerate, but since this is a board game that is no issue at all.
As noted by another Gentoo user, app-crypt/p11-kit needs to have the abi_x86_32 USE flag enabled. Also note the game did NOT run with Proton 5.0-5 (black screen with an immovable cursor). 4.11-13 is the most recent version available that worked for me.
Am getting ~15 FPS
Everything works, even the online multiplayer games
Runs perfectly
Works perfectly out of the box
The performance of this game depends on the OS you use. It runs perfectly on Fedora, but it doesn't start on Kubuntu on the same laptop. It is not that surprising, though, given the fact that this game is made on Unity.

Runs perfectly out of the box

Not only it works out of the box, but the performance seems better compared to the previous Proton versions.

Runs perfectly. I haven't tested the online functionality yet, but the single player mode works really well.

Using "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" as another user suggested fixed this game for me.

Runs perfectly, if you choose the OpenGL option on launching the game. The default option is very slow and the fonts are so thick they are unreadable.

Works great after adding "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%"to the launch options. Haven't run into any issues after setting that.

Required app-crypt/p11-kit to be rebuild with the abi_x86_32 use flag.
Now gets the error "0034:fixme:dbghelp:elf_search_auxv can't find symbol in module" before crashing on startup.

No issues found so far

Ran fine out of the box. No issues whatsoever.

When trying to start Scythe, I get an error: "Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed"
Note that while the Steam system information reports the integrated GPU, this machines does have an GeForce GT 730M as well. Prefixing the game command with "optirun" should cause Scythe to be run on that GPU instead, but it seems that it isn't.

Ran into a "Failed to initialize graphics" error with the default driver in Mint. Manually upgraded to version 396 and the game runs amazing. No issues at all.

Minor FPS drop for few seconds after game loaded, but the rest time is perfect
