Using Proton is required to have full controller support.

Flawless.
It even supported my controller, although I didn't use it because it felt wrong.

gamemoderun %command% -force-vulkan
No need for any launch option, used -force-vulkan because it improved my stability and fps.

Default control layout would not work fully. Certain binds were not mapped correctly.
I enjoyed the game and it runs well, but you need to tinker the controller layout.

Other report if it comes out the same time shows how to fix
Well done Valve and Proton Team

Enabled Steam Input and used top community layout to make Xbox 360 controller work correctly.
Better played with mouse and keyboard
Works out of the box, even on bad hardware

Native works fine except for the controller issues mentioned. Proton Experimental fixes the controller issues.
Controller input inconsistently worked to the point of being unplayable. Proton Experimental version works fine with controller.

Steam verified but d-pad doesn't work so you can't even get past the tutorial? Use the community template and the game runs fine though
Stable 60fps, everything works smoothly.
нативная версия распознает не все кнопки
gamemoderun %command%
Took forever to load into the game & Gnome reported that it wasn't responding
GE-Proton7-50
40 fps
The native Linux verson does not recognize Dpad
Developers need to fix the native Linux version for Dpad
I wasn't able to finish the tutorial on Steam Deck because controller input stopped working, even after a restart
The tutorial stopped accepting controller input, specifically on the D-pad
No issues of any sort
Flawless
Works great, but it is really a game for mouse. Everything take a long time with controller
Controllers do not work properly with the native version. Other than that, it works flawlessly.
Controller input does not work properly and only some buttons work. Using Proton fixes this problem (I tried with 7.2-GE-3-test-3, but it'll probably work for other versions.) Keyboard and mouse work fine.
