A surprisingly fun FMV adventure game with some great puzzles. Runs far better than I expected it to on the Steam Deck.
It's a little small in places but not unreadable.
Slight crackling in places but it soon returns to normal. Again, bearable.
Some very minor glitches like the mouse sometimes not refreshing near the edge of the screen.
The game will occasionally slow down for a few seconds before returning to normal, usually either when opening the save menu or during the odd FMV sequence. It's entirely beareable.
If you're playing this uninterrupted it's fine, if you want to multitask you'll have to quit the game each time.
Can't use Alt-Enter to toggle fullscreen. If I Alt-Tab away the Dosbox window is still drawn in the background, so I see the active window I switch to over a black background. Can't go back to the game - it does not re-render anything - until I 'pkill dosbox' to terminate it. If I edit the Dosbox config to run in windowed mode the resolution is too tiny, I tried overriding it to 1280x960 which works for the initial window, but as soon as the game draws its menu the window shrinks again.
TL;DR I'll probably stick to playing this on my Steam Deck.
Performance is fine except for screen tearing on the 'load game' dialog
