Was working fine with gamemoderun and gamescope, but recently it stopped allowing the game to run. With out gamemoderun and gamescope it runs okay, aside from the mouse not getting captured correctly(only notices on multi-monitor setups) and a single pixel boarder always visible.

Alt+Tab freezes the game for a pediod of time, and borderless is just borked
Game runs perfectly using Proton. Runs at a consistent 60fps on my hardware, despite it hovering around the 40 mark on Windows using the same hardware.

Double screen sometimes get the mouse unfixed, changed the setting on the wineprefix using: WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/553850/pfx winecfg go to graphics and select the box to capture the mouse, never happened again after that
Slow framerates, high frame times when playing, looks like a powerpoint presentation while hardware chilling, low the graphics and nothing happened

Stuttering, low frames and input delay
Unable to get the game to even launched with default settings. I am able to get the game within playable framerate after setting up proton expiremental, launch options and setting in game graphics to low and rendering scale to performance. happy diving!

Recent gameguard update breaks gamescope.

Was not able to join lobbies with proton-cachyos, switching to experimental helped with that, forget what the internet says about DNS or IPv6.

Lags more than what it was at launch. My DXVK and topology settings are heavily tailored to my system.

Borderless cannot capture cursor without --force-grab-cursor, fullscreen is OK. Sometimes, particularly after an update, game launches in borderless mode despite setting. Simply hit ALT+RETURN a few times, then switch back to fullscreen.
Remember to include LD_PRELOAD="" if you disable the Steam Overlay.

The only problem I had was with proton-CachyOS(native package) when I was using expressVPN. The game wouldn't connect to other players and vice versa(even with friend that you could see online). The problem was fixed after I switched to proton experimental.

It runs extremely well and smoothly.
There is crackling and distortion with very loud audio moments while diving onto the planet, but it is otherwise fine.
I run in Borderless Full Screen Window mode and when the opening cinematic starts it does not always launch and occupy the full screen. I have found the most reliable way to switch over to it is to click on the bottom portion of that window when I pops up while I hover over the Steam icon.

after symlink due to new disk this worked very well out of the box, exept cursor grabbing. also running a 90fps at max setting native rendering but was expecting a bit more given my build.

Mods have been broken by the recent update
Any mods changing (at least) models will cause the game to not launch. Delete the data direcotory, then verify installed files. Also update your mods.

Weird white line around screen in Fullscreen. To Fix (KDE): run game in window mode and use special application settings to force fullscreen.
When using multiple Monitors, the mouse sometimes moves out of the game. To Fix: disable all other monitors. In KDE, you can set keyboard shortcuts for this.
First, figure out your display name: "kscreen-doctor -o"
Then create a new shortcut with the command "kscreen-doctor output.[monitor].disable"
and another one with "kscreen-doctor output.[monitor].enable" to enable the second monitor again.

Plays great without any changes, but there are minor performance issues that can be helped with tinkering

If you use a different keyboard layout (I use colemak) gamescope
translates your layout to the game automatically and you do not have to rebind default keys.

Not going to go
I am on Fedora 42 and game not going to work no matter what i do

borderless has a weird white outline without the launch options
performance since some recent update (idk which one) has gotten WAY worse, went from matching windows performance to anywhere from 20%-50% worse performance than windows, making the game kinda unplayable

Helldivers 2 previously required no launch arguments for Fedora, but now it is not using the GPU - unless this launch statement tells it to use the GPU. I have seen this on other games such as Forza Horizon 5 lately, so it is likely no fault of the game.

Sometimes, when you Alt+Tab and then refocus the game, it becomes really stuttery. You might want to Alt+Tab a few times until it fixes itself, that usually works. Also, there's the white border in borderless mode, but I think it's the same on Windows.

I had crashing after about 2-3 minutes starting up. I ended up disabling the XMP profile and lowering my RAM clock rate from 6000 MHz to 4800 MHz in the BIOS. Avoid overclocking your RAM for this game. Now it works like a charm!

It doesn't start on fullscreen by default, need to enable it manually.
If ASYNC option is enabled the input gets laggy after two missions and worse while in it.
Performance-wise Helldivers 2 runs slighty worse on linux than windows, have to keep it most of the graphics on low.
If ASYNC option is enabled the game will drop FPS after some time playing.

There is a white border in windowed fullscreen mode. In default fullscreen mode everything is fine
Game works flawlessly without gamescope. i tried to use gamescope on wayland with SDL backend and X11 synchronous to avoid default fullscreen mode behavior but game randomly freezes at esc menu.

Works pretty well, but could be better (also, better performance on CPU bottlenecked systems).
There appear to be some missing textures (some weapon magazines, tip of artillery shells).
Bordelless fullscreen was overriden by the task bar. Fullscreen had issues alt tabing.
Apart from the issues presented, the performance boost is welcome for CPU bottlenecked systems.
