Runs really poorly
The game runs extremely poorly. Not sure if it's due to Proton or if the game is just that unoptimized, but some areas run as low as 15 FPS. Which seems really absurd for this level of graphics on this hardware. Other games run fine though, so it's not impossible that it's the game.
I can't recommend playing it like this, regardless of whether it's due to the game or due to Proton.
Some panoramic views a little slow when camera flows but it's true only when multiple moving objects present. Controls: "O" for Objective doesn't but that's not critical.
Runs well, played the game and the DLC all the way through.
The game runs quite well with DXVK in 4k. Not sure if the dialog's can be skipped though, maybe not all input works as it should?
Unknown(< 1 hour with Proton)proton 4.2-3. Crash on startup can be avoided by choosing lowest graphics settings in initial dialog prompt. Once past the initial into animation with a save game I was able to choose higher graphics settings and load existing game.

UnknownRuns fine, everything works out of the box. Slight stutters when loading areas but I had the same under Windows 7. The game is not well optimized to begin with so you are not going to get better than this.
