I have tried to play this game a long time ago, but back then there were no video´s ingame. This problem is solved. The game runs very well on the Steam Deck now. The only thing I have done is turning Proton Experimental on, Proton 8.0-5 works also.
The game works alright with the default proton
Alt+tab is the only way to change the game to a windowed, the game seems to adapt at your resolution even on 21:9 resolution with black bars at the sides and videos get stretched.
GoG version. Works great including video cutscenes if you use a Proton Experimental prefix as of Sept 30, 2022. I used Gamehub to provide the Proton Experimental prefix, Lutris should also work. Installed using basic WINE then imported to Gamehub to manage the change to a Proton prefix. Great performance of video, audio, input etc...
Runs with videos, using latest Proton 5.13-6 with mf-install on top.
Black screen after logos
I've tried it on two different laptops, one with Intel graphics and another with an old Nvidia graphics card. Both showed the same black screen after logos on launch.
I liked the gameplay and wasn't invested in the story but you do miss story developments that alter the environment.
Cutscenes didn't load
Game works but scenes are being skipped, missing out on too much context to be really playable.
Played 10 min got already 7 of 40 archivement and faced no issues
Game is playable, but cutscene videos do not play leaving out too much context, the game also crashes on exit.
