Lowered TDP to 10w. still held 60fps.
Proton version used 8.0.3. Game doesn't have controller button glyphs, only keyboard and mouse keys.
Installed d3dcompiller_47.dll
In settings enable controller
Use Proton 5.13-6 to enable black & white cutscenes
Use protontricks to install d3dcompiller_47.dll for color cutscenes
I find restarting from last checkpoint a quicker method to reset artifacting texture bug
Toggled left stick click/sprint
Restarting game does fix artifacting, but only until the next cutscene
Game controller is suppprted, but with keyboard prompts
Game will crash on any newer Proton version once a cutscene plays
Some cutscenes only play audio
Servers offline since Activision lost the James Bond rights; LAN is still an option

Just remember to restart the game if you get any artifact.
If you start the game without artifact, changes are you are not going to see them. But if you start and see an artifact they are going to get worse over time.
if you use ctrl as "show pointer" in your linux distro, it will prevent you from using Focus in game.
The game has a change to crash in between cutscenes and levels.
The company closed and lost its licensing over the game, so you will not find it being sold anymore and the online multiplayer is not working.
But you will have an enjoyable experience playing the single player.
