its ok. nothing game breaking but better on windows.
the zip line in mission 2 flickered in and out of existance
slight stutter but went away over time so i assume its caching shaders
i wasnt able to try unranked online because the download speed was too slow but ranked worked. being an old game expect to only play tdm nuke town
Permanent Game Settings Download
The game settings Download problem is not OS related (treyarch/activision need to fix their servers)

Most probably non OS related problem, still not playable in multiplayer: -endless "Game settings download" -no ranked servers
there already is a forum post on steam about this issue, and a Dev apparently responded to a report, maybe just takes a while to get fixed since its an older Activision (treyarch) game and they have other stuff to focus on atm.
this problem is going on for about a week now (Will update when fixed, if I remember)
To be honest, I would recommend just using Windows for Black Ops and other CoD games, but is still good on linux.
Gunfire is non-existent, same with footsteps, all that remains is the music at the start and end of the game, the announcer's voice and the screams of your enemies and friends dying. Although this was on my current linux install, I recently reinstalled linux because it got corrupted and now the audio is missing, but when that install was working, the game was perfect.
Some Slight Stuttering does occur, other than that, pretty playable now.

Does not work.
Game installs, but refuses to boot up.
Does not launch

Game will run, but no Window will appear. Allocates needed RAM but CPU usage stays at 0%.
This also applies to the Singleplayer executable.

Doesn't work for probably the same reason it's singleplayer doesn't work.
