Extremely sensitive controls even when set to minimum, when used with default controls, sensitivity was too low and certain sections were not controllable.
Make sure to set to minimum sensitivity on WASD and mouse controls through steam defaults. It is likely the easiest way to get the best out of the controls. The cart controls are painful, to say the least, but the rest runs well. I did immediately set the FPS limit to 30 and experienced no drops or spikes and consistently ran well until the oversensitivity of the controls got me killed.
