Use DXVK Command to limit the in-game FPS unless you want your GPU to run at 1000FPS. My previous Steam Deck report noted the VN was rather finnicky on weaker hardware, like HPCs w/FPS drops & bad frame times. Desktop is just fine though, OPs/EDs play.. No GE-Required, largely just works.

DXVK_FRAME_RATE=45 WINE_ALERT_SIMULATE_SCHED_QUANTUM=1 %command%
TDP: 7-8W(Frametimes will be high otherwise) Allow Tearing[ON] / GPU: 500-700mhz, 45hz/45FPS.
So if you try to limit the FPS via SteamOS, as of this post the FPS Limiter is ineffective, the Game will shoot for 90-100FPS+ unless hardlimited via TDP or Custom Command. Depending on how you limit your TDP, in-game FPS may be drastically affected for some animations.
I'll re-report if tuning the in-game VRAM Limit improves this.
You don't need my full command to limit the FPS, you just need: DXVK_FRAME_RATE=45 %command% | Change "45" to your desired FPS. I'm still investigating, the VN has slight performance issues in-regards to Steam Deck / SteamOS specifically.
(So Disable the-OS FPS Limiter, Allow Tearing & Manually set your Hz to the FPS limit you want, then do the DXVK Command)
I doubt these issues persist to on Desktop systems w/more VRAM & CPU Cores.
The VN can be fully enjoyed despite the odd SteamOS specific issues.
