Plays in desktop mode only, but controls didn't work. In regular mode it was very slow.

Performance:Significant Performance Problems

When playing on Steam Deck in the normal UI, gameplay was very slow.

Tried in regular mode and the gameplay and graphics were all super slow. Switched to desktop mode, and the intro played at the correct speed, but controller inputs did not work. Tried different compatibility modes, none resolved the issue for the regular Deck UI.

I had some issues playing online with a friend using windows, so I ran it with proton and everything worked very well.

I decided to use Proton because the Linux native build does not seem to support cross-platform multiplayer and it also has issues with my wireless Xbox 360 controllers. Using Proton resolves both of these issues.
