There's an issue with controller inputs not being detected on steam deck if you open the steam menu (via the button) while ingame. Game does not have autosaves so this could lead to a lot of lost progress if not careful.
Just make sure to manually save often and avoid pressing the steam button on Steam Deck, or else you'll have to close and reopen the game.

- Select 1680x1050 resolution for fullscreen 16:10 aspect ratio without black bars.
- Graphical settings can be set at max (ultra, MSAA 8x, AF 4x)
Once past the initial "New Game" menu that requires a hyprid of gamepad and keyboard everything should work as expected.
Secondary Launcher Problem:
Game configuration can only be done through a (skippable) launcher window that only supports mouse input.

While most of the in-game menu's can be navigated with gamepad, some menus require the use of the "Enter" key and name entry requires the digital keyboard.
