This game is so close to being click to play but the bad default fullscreen and lack of saves makes it nearly unplayable without tweaks.
gamescope -w 720 -h 450 -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 60 -f -- %command%
The game has a ton of issues but using Proton you can get 80% of the way working. everything other then full screen and saving works. full screen is the eaiser of the two too fix using gamescope -w 720 -h 450 -W -H -f -- %command% (using the lutris or bottles menu works great as well) will give you a smooth experience without the base game black bounding boxes and strange ugly black bars (just remember to set full screen in game every time you close and open) Saving is much harder I am not sure what exactly is wrong or why the flash player is unable to save, but after 3 hours of trying stuff, I found using a 32 bit wine set to windows xp fixed offline saving (online save servers appear to be dead.) I used bottles to make a 32 bit game prefix that I put the exe into and it worked flawlessly in there there may be a way to get this working on proton but just setting proton to windows xp failed to give the desired result.
If you use the built in flash fullscreen rather then gamescope any time you are in a menu every icon or 2d image will have a black box outline surrouding it as this game has alot off 2d assets any time you are in a menu it looks like the aftermath of someone being board with the box tool in mspaint also the built in full screen leaves unnecessarily large black borders. I cannot suggest using game scope enough
The fullscreen leaves most of the screen black with poor scaling; it is playable but on a screen bigger then 720p Id suggest using gamescope if you want fullscreen
As noted in the tweaks, it seems the game needs to be set to 32-bit and Windows XP to save and load correctly. Online saves seem to be no longer supported, either. I had to use a vanilla system wine to get the 32-bit prefix. I'm unsure what would need to be done for proton or any other 64-bit prefix to work.
I hope the developers update to a mondern 64-bit flash player or maybe proton updates wow64 to work with this old flash projector. but until then this game takes alot of work to get working. (also the hd patch does not work well Id advise aginst using, it has even more artifacting and requires you to patch the game on a windows device and then send it too your linux one)
Offline saves are not uploaded to cloud; you would have to import them if you switch devices
would be fine, if it werent for the saving not working.
cannot maximize window.
offline saving doesnt work.
If you enjoyed the stick rpg flash game, and have tried stick rpg 2 on Windows (and enjoyed it), then you'll enjoy the game on here
Shift is bound to pushing down on the left thumb stick, you may want to change this to one of the buttons in the back to make it easier to hold shift down (and in turn make the character run in game)
Changed X button to shift for sprinting
The game is not suited to a gamepad, but with the touch screen it was surprisingly playable, even in combat.
The game does not scale well to the resolution, and so is somewhat blurry.
Offline saves did not work, online saves (with XGen account) did work, though.
Game content works well
Tested at 1920x1080: fullscreen puts large black bars on every border and cuts off some of the game content. Returning to a window after fullscreen keeps black bars. This may not be unique to Proton.

Fullscreen doesn't work, offline saves do work despite what the other reviews say, and nothing else doesn't work.

Game is playable, but offline saving doesn't appear to work, also full screen looks terrible and only uses a small 4:3 square in the middle of the screen. Windowed mode (aka default) is fine.

Opens in process list for all of 3 seconds.
