The game start on the wrong screen.

SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland SDL_DYNAMIC_API=/usr/lib/sdl2-2.0.so.0 %command%
Game's "./start" script doesn't seem to update SDL_DYNAMIC_API var if SDL_DYNAMIC is actually set below "# Lines to customize" so you can rather manually replace bash's if "[ -z "$SDL_DYNAMIC" ]" statement or just set this var in launch options
Sometimes bugs pop out here and there but I dont think they're linux-specific, save-loading solves them
If anyone want wayland-native window, set these two options as I did

Нативная версия игры полностью пройдена, никаких технических проблем не было.

I had to switch to Windowed Mode with the correct resolution. That Texts are correctly in position.
Enable windowed mode and set the resolution for correct Text positions.
The Windows and Linux Save files are not compatible and Cloud Sync just works within a Plattform. I had to enable Proton for the Windows version that i could resume my game.
You should enable Steam Play for that Title if you want to have Cloud Save Support.

No issues using the Epic Games version of the game which is Windows only. Installed using Heroic and runs without issue on the latest version of Wine GE (8-17) at the time of writing.

Running it native just works.
As at least one other has mentioned, sometimes there were boundary issues. Closing and starting the game seemed to solve this the couple of times it happened.
Finished entire game on Linux. 10/10
Useful keybinds: I (inventory), Space (show objects), Esc (skip dialogue / main menu), F5 (save/load menu), F8 (settings menu), F9 (quicksave), F10 (load quicksave), M (mute music).
The game occasionally started with incorrect mouse boundaries. The bounds would be shifted to the upper left so everything along the bottom and right side of the screen were inaccessible. Restarting the game sometimes worked, but usually the issue persisted through multiple restarts. The solution I found was to go into the settings, check "windowed mode", change the resolution to 1280 x 800, and restart the game. The bounds would be fixed and the game would automatically revert to fullscreen. There is also an option to force a specific resolution from the game's properties in SteamOS. I didn't try this, but I would assume that forcing it to 1280 x 800 would also fix this issue.
Another issue that happened more rarely was that the game could stop detecting inputs. It seemed like it occured when I tried to skip dialogue too quickly with Esc. The game would be stuck on the main menu and ignore all inputs. Restarting the game fixed the issue, but there was no way to save first.
Was curious if an issue I encoutered in Windows (FullScreen) was an issue with the Windows build or just Windows 11. Ran fine in Proton.
I highle recommend playing this on Linux over Windows 11.
Game runs flawless on the SteamDeck and the touchpad controls are easy to use
Runs perfectly fine on Steam Deck. No tinkering required.
if you had a windows save file like me you can go to home/.local/share/Daedalic Entertainment GmbH/Deponia The Complete Journey/Savegames/profile0.dat
and change the values from the chapters you've played from false to true, that way you won't have to replay the entire game

Works fine native and on Proton.

Works perfectly
