too small
Using Steam Deck's virtual keyboard was issue prone
stuttering, slow behaviour
Considering the age, and the seeming simplicity of the game, the performance of it was suprisingly poor. Not unplayable, but oddly slow when doing common tasks like loading a menu, or transitioning to a new scene. This could be a Proton issue, or just how the game has been engineered.

WINED3D usually needed for Proton v5.0 and above
To get proper fullscreen: xrandr --size 960x600 && PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 optirun %command% && xrandr --size 1920x1080 %command% without this the game launches in a small upper-left portion of the screen.
game renders in a small portion of the screen without custom WINE prefix
NB! optirun only for use with bumblebee/primus to switch between graphic chipsets.

Working perfectly out of the box.
