The 2D campaign map works fine, but 3D battles are hardly playable due to heavy graphical degradation (missing models/textures, artefacts).
2D campaign map works fine, heavy graphical degradation in 3D battles; most textures are missing and many graphical glitches.
Mechanics seem to work (as far as I was able to tell), but the 3D graphical experience is degraded to the point where it is hardly playable.

One minor thing, with PPA Nvidia Driver versions (did not test with other Nvidia nor AMD cards): unless you check "Simple Shader" in graphics option, the game won't render HLSL/GLSL correctly, leaving 'black artifacts', when it should render 'shadows'/'shaded materials' = behind smoke effects, for example. Not sure if this is a 'translation' error in WINE/Proton or a Nvidia specific API driver related thing (In Windows OS, it renders correctly). Check "Simple Shader" and it's all good.

The game has it's content packaged as modules. After the Steam download you click 'Play", the game launcher UI starts and needs to install (register) all the DLC. All you have to do is click "Save & Play" several times, for each module to install until this process is done. After the final DLC/module is installed, the game does start and all works out of the box.

No problems at all. 2D tactical map/3d real time battles, load/save, music,sound/visual effects, everything works with very good performance
