Other than black screen for intro video - no problems.
Couldn't get the game to run on Win.11 but other than losing the intro video it works fine on linux
There are known bugs but I haven't experienced any of them (during the full walk through) except the one I mentioned.
The only bug I got is a black screen (with the original audio) instead of the game intro.
No issues.

I copied manually dxWrapper (d3d8d.dll + main folder, set in dxwrapper.ini D3d8to9 = 1), run protontricks GAMEID winecfg to set d3d8 to native, use start parameter PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% and then the game worked on Vulkan with D9VK. Tested with the new ACO compiler on Plasma Wayland.

Unknown(< 15 minutes with Proton)Just edit, under the game's directory, Data/VideoSettings.scr and change 1024, 768 to 1920, 1080 or whatever resolution you want. It will be stretched but it will work.

Intro video is black-screened (audio works though), but the main game menu and the game itself work fine. Can change the resolution to 1600x1200 in the settings (that and 1024x768 are the only options!), though the game author doesn't scale the game text up at the higher res (that's a game issue, nothing to do with Proton).
