I dropped the tdp to 7 watts and gpu to 500mhz and got about 6 hours okay time on an lcd deck
As mentioned just a little tinker on the game profile settings to get extended battery life
Runs great and good fun
GE adds more resolution options, Proton EX works fine, Linux Native has worse frametimes on Steam Deck

It's cool to see this has a Linux native version, but it's not really doing you any favors besides being able to say "I have play Linux Native". The frametimes are worse inthe Linux Native version, if I focused on the space ship on fire(Initial Crash Site) with Lvl 4 SteamOS/Mangohud Statistics, I can see the stutters in the graph.
Stutters are not Major making it unplayable, but Proton handles the frametimes about as well as you would expect for a super easy to run game like this.. With a clear bar & no microstutters.
Personally I use my existing TDP settings & limit FPS to 50(FPS) and that's going to be a good time with a long battery life.
Game runs fine on Deck, just be sure to use Proton instead of the Linux Native version.
