Game works great once you set the game to be ran in a virtual desktop. Plays fine with the Deck itself, but plays better using keyboards.
Made game run in a 640x480 Virtual Desktop.
15 FPS, 3W TDP, 200 GPU, Half Rate Shading
Would recommend to play local multiplayer docked and with keyboards instead of using the controllers.
Would not run without being in a Virtual Desktop

Well if your screen resolution is low enough, then it might be fun. But I guess it's not really a Proton issue.
The game is super small on a 4K screen, and resolution can't be changed -- there is no option to do so, so it's possible that it's just the game being old.
Launches and runs great with Proton v4.2-9. Newer versions, after launching, either immediately stop, or get stuck on the 'Installing Microsoft DirectX' step. 4.2-9 passes the step and the game launches. In fullscreen, the game is small/centered, which I think is due to the original resolution of the game (it's quite old now)

Working perfectly out of the box.
