Installed directplay
DirectPlay (a Windows component, available as a WineTricks verb Thankfully) is required for LAN multiplayer. Unable to test multiplayer fully as of yet, but the game stopped saying it was "Unable to create session" once I installed DirectPlay. Found this out by trying the game on Tiny 11 and getting a "Needs additional Windows component" notification.

Plays perfectly in singleplayer. Multiplayer isn't officially supported anymore but may be possible with third-party tools.
Can't host a game - game returns error message. There is a third-party tool for Windows available on GitHub called "Moonbase Console" that facilitates multiplayer on modern PCs, but I did not test it with Proton.
Works fine since/with Proton 5.13-1
Tabbing out and back in makes the cursor invisible

Menu loads but none of the options to play can be selected

Boots fine, cinematics play, but the main menu doesn't respond to the mouse. Possibly a dual monitor issue? Only responds to keyboard commands, which barely allows you to alt-f4 out.

loaded options screen but none could be selected

Boots up but then asks for a CD. There's a windows fix for this but I'm unsure how to apply it to Linux.
