Most of the tinkering is done to make it work on the Steam Deck, but even without it the game would run at around 30fps.

https://github.com/artur-graniszewski/DLSS-Enabler to utilise DLSS 3 over FSR 3 in graphics settings, and then https://github.com/Lyall/FFXVIFix which just works with no other tinkering.
Heavily distorted when low FPS
Lots of "ghosting" effects, presumably from the low FPS
FFXVIFix is a NEED with how much the FPS dips during cutscenes + a lot of other QOL improvements.

The game isn't very well optimized
Adding the DLSS and FFXVI Fix is a life saver for this game

DLSS Mod
The release does improve a bit of performance than beta but i dont really find it to be COMFORT enough to be playable . Every cutscenes is just stutter fest. Gameplay is fine except stuttering sometime. Not expecting to play this away from charging place.
Using the DLSS MOD which is FSR 3.1 can bring huge improvement to gameplay. I dont really find any input latency in gameplay. However , may experience texture problem sometime . Most of the time, it is a 50-60 fps with the mod on fight. Cutscenes on this game is just the worst for now and probably some eikon fight like the intro fire eikon.
I will call it playable as i can actually do the battle but it is not really enjoyable to the extent i would recommend people to buy it now. Rather wait for improvement on this game.

While the SteamDeck is able to play the game without the graphical issues compared to PC, the performance is not great running at FSR3

Playing on low with FSR3 set to performance, it is still hard to keep a locked 30fps. progressing further into the mountain intro really chugs the FPS
