Like the other Combat Mission Games I've played, everything seems to be running just fine out of the box.

OwnedWorks out of the box on Proton 8.XX
I'm pleased/amazed/thankful the wonderful Combat Mission series is FINALLY working out of the box on Linux. In the past, I compiled my own version of wine and/or proton to play this game. It seems that it now works out of the box. I just played a short scenario on my Steam Deck with no issues. I haven't modded it yet and have not tried PBEM++, but I expect those to work fine since they always worked on my custom wine/proton.
