Simplemente escogí la versión Wine de AoC: Unchained y listo
Solo me ha funcionado con Lutris, la edición de Steam no lanzaba el juego con ninguna versión de Proton.

Works with PlayOnLinux script, changing Wineversion to 9.0 after installation.
---Testing with Pure wine bottle (v9.15), Winetricks DXVK, dll override: d3dcore - builtin, d3d11 -builtin fixes patcher issues but unable to switch dx-version in patcher and get game to launch.
---First attempt after installing with steam and running Proton EXperimental launched game with some grapical errors at character screen, but was unable to get to login when trying more times.

In PlayOnLinux I clicked the Install button, in the search, I typed Age of Conan, and installed from the script that appears on the right-hand side, near the top.
I've had one crash, which I was able to Alt + SysRq, R E I S U B and my system responded and rebooted. I had a fairly long session after the crash, and a fairly decent session prior to the crash, which is when the initial crash happened.
I started with Steam and attempts to use Proton and GE-Proton, and also tried Lutris. I should note, that the PlayOnLinux script installs a different version of Wine. I read a thread where someone got it working, but had to change it to WINE 9.X. I attempted the same thing, and was able to play it. During the install with PlayOnLinux, I changed it to a 32 bit install, which 'I believe' is the reason, I couldn't get it working on Steam (via any method I tried), or Lutris. Every attempt via Steam and Lutris ended with me having to perform an Alt + SysRq (PrintScreen) + R E I S U B. The game crashed while loading, and crashed very hard. I did attempt older versions of Proton on Steam, such as 8.X, and older versions of Ge-Proton, such as GE-Proton-8.26. As I understand it, PlayOnLinux is out of it's life cycle, however, I can see where it is certainly handy in cases where the game you are trying to play is just really old. I installed it from the Software Manager on Linux Mint.

Tries to Launch/ Then Crashes.
For anyone wondering, this is still broken.

Assertion failed + When the game launches, crashes(with the steam)
d3dx9_43 d3dcompiler_43
I added d3dx9_43 d3dcompiler_43 as another guy recommended. Installed, but assertion failed message appeared and after clicking attempt to continue, when the game should launch, the game crashes with steam.
d3dcompiler_43, d3dx10_43, d3dx9_43, in launcher enable ditectx 10 and fullscreen

DirectX10 has stability issues due to unimplemented shader precompilation, but DX9 is perfectly stable.

The game installs all components but does not run. Show in the steam library how if it were running

Only an error message: "Failed to initialize GUI"

Crashes with the message "The Update Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Attempts to run ConanPatcher.exe - this is designed to verify game files to prevent hacking and pass a key to the main executable giving it permission to run. There are methods for bypassing this on Windows that I've attempted but ran out of time.

Crashes immediately with the message "The Update Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close"

Random error messages. Corrupt files. Tried all fixes wont start at all
