Just use Proton 8.x, and it works perfectly; otherwise, you'll have issues with the keyboard, sound, and mouse.

As of 2024-11-21 the Linux version did not work or run. Forced GE-Proton9-16 and game ran without any tinkering.

Minor graphical issues along the borders of the screen, unsure if that was a game issue or Proton issue however.
Worked without any issues aside from the minor artifacting around the edges of the screen in some levels, which was basically a non-issue as it didn't effect gameplay whatsoever. Refresh rate issue with Linux build was solved instantly when switching to Proton.

No problems, the game works perfect. i think this game might have a Linux version but not sure because forcing Proton fixed the Main monitor issue (putting in the wrong display). but yeah have fun, you can play from start to finish.
Cutscenes are choppy, game can slow down while the player is in a more intense combat (e.g.: Act I: Cemetery, Insomnia difficulty).
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Does not run with any Proton Version above 5.13-6
The keyboard does not respond, only responds the mouse but very slowly
The keyboard is a standard 105 keys
Some crackling during cutscenes. It got quite bad on the final boss and during the credits. Adding the launch option PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 %command% helps a lot.
So far I've played the entire campaign as well as a few of the DLC levels, but I haven't tried multiplayer or co-op, or the solo survival modes, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work.
Good alternative for the Linux native which doesn't work anymore
Performance likely to be considered correct considering my GPU. No stability problems as long as I remember.
